The UEFA Champions League draw was held this afternoon in Nyon. Arsenal Manager said on Saturday that he will be in church on Sunday to seek divine intervention for Arsenal’s recent ill-luck in the draws which had seen them face Bayern and Barcelona twice in the last four seasons.
His prayers appeared to have been answered after his Arsenal side were drawn against French side, Monaco. For the second time in two seasons, English Champions Manchester City have been drawn against Spanish Giant Barcelona.
French Champions, PSG face Mourinho’s Chelsea. Shalke 04 will face defending champions Real Madrid. Sharkter Donetsk of Ukraine will trade tackles with German champions Bayern Munich, while Basel of Switzerland will face Porto of Portugal.
Bayern Leverkusen will also slug it out with last season runner-up Atletico Madrid and Italian champions Juventus will face Dortmund.
