Spain’s FC Barcelona on Wednesday announced that star striker Lionel Messi has agreed to extend his contract with the club until June 30, 2021, just days after he got married to his childhood sweetheart in Argentina.
The club in a statement said that “The deal will be signed in the coming weeks, when Messi returns to the team for pre-season training”.
