Sterling Bank Partners Lait Foundation to Organise Leadership programme for School Owners
Sterling Bank Plc in partnership with Lait foundation has organised a leadership programme for school owners and administrators.
The programme tagged ‘Succeeding At School Leadership Programme’ was held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Ikeja, Lagos between Tuesday, 14th and Friday, 17th of May, 2019.
According to the official twitter handle of Sterling Bank Plc, the programme was held in a bid to improve the quality of education in Nigeria by enhancing the capacity of Nigerian schools to run effectively and efficiently.
At the programme, the school administrators were given sound tools, knowledge and ideas that will increase the capacity of their schools and make them more efficient and effective.
The participants also learnt sustainable leadership skills for learning and positioning as a legal entity amongst others.
One of the school owners, Adenike Okoro, the proprietor of Trillium Court Montessori, took her fellow administrators on an insightful session on Tax payment and management.
It could be recalled that the bank recently threw out a challenge to architects and professionals in the environmental science space in order to get solutions to Nigeria’s affordable housing deficit.
The bank got huge entries for the architectural contest through the Nigerian Institute of Archtects (NIA), Lagos and three winners emerged in the challenge tagged ‘Lagos home design competition.’
The first winner got a sum of one million naira. While the second winner got a sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand naira, the third winner went home with five hundred thousand naira.
According to its twitter hand, Sterling bank is committed to supporting housing solutions that will cater for low and medium income earners through its Alternative Finance Nigerian platform.
