As the year is gradually coming to an end and Christmas fast approaching, the environment is filled with so many activities like end of year parties, as everyone is in the festive mood.
Such was the case as GTBank held their eagerly anticipated annual year end concert over the weekend. The event which took place at the British International School Premises in Lekki, saw a large turnout of GTBank staff and customers and caused heavy traffic the Lekki Epe Express Way. This year’s concert was tagged, ‘THE BIGGEST, THE BADDEST’.
The event started almost immediately after the CEO, Mr. Segun Agbaje arrived at about 8pm. The event was filled with so much fun as there was live performance by musicians such as Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Don Jazzy, Olamide, Dammy Krane, Davido and many others. As the artists came out in turns to perform, a huge crowd surrounded the stage to have a clearer view of their stars while some struggled to receive handshakes from them.
Comedians such as Basketmouth, Akpororo and others were also there to grace the occasion. There was so much to eat and drink. Some staff of the organisation won gifts like air conditions, generators, car, a trip to Dubai for two, and other wonderful gift items via a raffle draw. Also, a 300 level student of Lagos State polytechnic won a car through a raffle draw organised for GTCrea8 account holders.
The event ended at about 2am with the display of loud and colourful fireworks which sparkled in the air and dazzled the audience who looked on with amazement.
