South Africa’s President discharged from hospital after surgery
After undergoing a scheduled procedure to remove gallstones, South African President Jacob Zuma has been discharged from hospital on Sunday , the presidency said.
A statement from Zuma’s office said on Saturday that the gallstones were discovered about two months ago during a routine medical check-up.
The presidency said, “Doctors are pleased with the outcome of the operation. The President will spend the next few days resting and recuperating at home.”
