Kaduna State Governor, Ramallan Yero, Saturday said contrary to its claim of being popular, the crowd that attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Kaduna was rented.
He said no matter the antics of APC, the PDP will win the elections billed for February.
Yero made the disclosure when he fielded questions from State House correspondents who were in Kaduna for PDP’s presidential rally.
“As you all know, Kaduna is a PDP state and has been since 1999. All we have to do is to ensure we maintain PDP status in the state.
“Don’t forget that Kaduna is the home of vice president, and some of the founding fathers of PDP are also from here” Yero said.
On the attack of Jonathan’s convoy in some state in the North, the governor condemned the development, saying Kaduna youths had been sensitised against towing that path.
Yero added that the PDP campaign in Kaduna State had been peaceful and highly successful unlike the crisis-ridden campaign of APC.
