Man City Ready to Sell Yaya Toure and Have £60m Replacement Lined Up

yayaEtihad Stadium side ready to offload top performer.

Man City are reportedly considering the possibility of selling Ivory Coast powerhouse Yaya Toure and already have a potential replacement for the Etihad Stadium star lined up according to the Daily Mail.

The 31 year old’s relationship with the Premier League title holder’s has been frosty for some time and apparently the former Barcelona man is considering one final big move and has set his sights on a move to French giants PSG.

If Man City do elect to allow Toure to leave then they will apparently look to bring in Juventus youngster Paul Pogba and are ready to ‘splash out’ a club record £60m for the French international.

Pogba left Man United for Turin back in July 2012 and has been a huge hit in Italy, playing a key role in back to back Serie A title triumphs, and the 21 year old could well be the ideal long term replacement for Toure.

Yaya Toure has been a hugely influential player throughout his time at Man City, his 24 goal haul last term helping the club to a second Premier League title in three seasons, but there may be a school of thought that the midfielder has reached the pinnacle of his abilities and as such a move to bring in a youthful replacement may be a sensible plan to make.
