Two-time FIFA World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho is currently negotiation a contract that will see him join Angolan club, Kabuscorp.
The 34-year-old is currently on the books of Mexican side Queretaro, now looks set to follow in Rivaldo’s footsteps and sign for Kabuscorp when the Mexican season ends later this year.
In an interview with Public Television Angola (PTA) Kabuscorp president Benedict Kangamba) confirmed that the deal is certain as negotiations are ongoing between the club and Ronaldinho: “It’s a certainty. We are negotiating, but Ronaldinho has to terminate the contract with his current club, and then be able to join us in June.
“You may ask why I picked Ronaldinho – well, I want quality in my squad,” he said.
Ronaldinho won two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barcelona. He also won the Serie A title with AC Milan, and remarkable the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, scoring one of the greatest goals in World Cup history against England.
