NIGERIAN AVIATION MISHAPS: IS CRISIS THY NAME?
Barely 72 hours after an Associated Airline crashed in Lagos, another plane crash was miraculously averted this morning. A Boeing 747 jet belonging to Kabo Airline which was bound for Saudi Arabia from Kano carrying 400 passengers had to make an emergency landing when the tyres burst out in flames mid air. The plane was forced to make an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III international airport in Sokoto. Thankfully, no lives were lost; the passengers were evacuated and lodged in a hotel somewhere in Sokoto.
