A former Nigerian Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, has declared his intention to contest in the presidential election of 2015.
He made the official declaration on Wednesday before a large gathering of APC members at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The former Head of State said he would tackle issues of insecurity, corruption, unemployment and power generation among others if elected.
During a visit to the governor of Kwara State, Abdulfattah Ahmed, on Tuesday, General Buhari had insisted on continuing to contest for the position since there was no constitutional limit to how many times anyone could contest for political posts.
General Buhari had contested for the same position three times in the past.
