Barcelona player, Neymar has called for Cristiano Ronaldo to be punished following his red card offence over the weekend at Cordona.
Ronaldo’s petulant behaviour earned him a red after he recklessly kicked out at an opponent, Edimar out of frustration.
Real Madrid went on to win the tie 2-1, but it was Ronaldo’s sending off that hugged the headlines.
Although Ronaldo later apologised for his acts, Neymar however wants him to be punished.
“Those of us playing as forwards are exposed to provocations and intimidation and sometimes you lose your nerve,” Neymar said.
“It’s clear we cannot do that under any circumstances. He must be punished because of the aggression.”
