Senator Awaisu Kuta representing Niger State died on Thursday morning in Abuja. Usman Kuta, a family member, who confirmed the death of the senator said, the senator would be buried in Minna Thursday afternoon according to Islamic rites.
The deceased was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character.
