President Buhari, Osinbajo hosts Super Eagles in Abuja, urge them to bring the World Cup home

President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo this morning hosted the Super Eagles at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

While addressing the Nigerian team, President Buhari pointed out that the team is very young and encouraged them to display the Nigerian spirit and their knowledge to a great advantage over their opponents. He also asked them to play a clean and fair game but bring the World Cup trophy back home.

In preparation towards their match against England at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, another pre-World Cup friendly, the players are expected to leave the country today for London.
