Odemwingie Could be out for Entire Season

Peter Odemwingie has suffered a knee ligament injury that could keep him out of Stoke City’s campaign for the rest of the season.

The 32-year-old fell during the Potters’ unlikely 1-0 victory over defending champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

While manager Mark Hughes dismissed the injury as nothing serious immediately after the game, reports from England now indicate that the winger would be out on the sidelines for a long spell.

A cruciate ligament injury normally requires orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation which could take between six months and a year to heal.
