MTN Nigeria sets to ‘Turn It Up’ in 2020 with thematic campaign
MTN Nigeria has launched a 360 thematic ‘Turn it Up’ campaign, inspired by the company’s continued commitment to facilitating transformation, progress, and success in the new decade.
The campaign which was held at the MTN Plaza Headquarters in Lagos was aunched with a TV commercial showing the life of a young boy who deeply respects his father, and remains loyal even when it seemingly hinders his dream of going to the ‘city’. Eventually, the boy is forced to find a common ground between his dreams and father’s expectations in a way that is spectacular. It is a deeply rooted message to Nigerians, who desire to take control of their lives and achieve a better future for themselves and loved ones.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Nigeria, Rahul De revealed that the campaign seeks to encourage Nigerians to look within to live their brightest lives by taking advantage of the varied opportunities around.
“Our unrelenting focus on empowering Nigerians is what led to this campaign and drives us every day to continue investing in our network and exploring the growth opportunities we see across our voice, data, digital, fintech and enterprise channels.”

“For us at MTN, our promise is to be that brand that will stand with every Nigerian in their quest to turn things up and live their best. This philosophy will guide everything we do as a brand this New Year.”
With this campaign, MTN Nigeria aims to encourage Nigerians to look inside of themselves, think out of the box and ‘turn up’ their creative, imaginative and innovative energies with the company’s extensive portfolio of products and services serving as the avenue of their goals and dreams.
Powered by a TV commercial, radio, press, and outdoor advertisements, the ‘Turn it Up’ campaign will be launched nationwide reminding Nigerians to reach for their dreams and achieve personal and career success.
