Eden Hazard who has been a subject of interest from Real Madrid and PSG in recent months has been offered a new contract by Chelsea to keep him at the club for the next five years.
The deal being negotiated by Hazard’s team currently is believed to be worth somewhere around 10 million Pounds. The contract would see Eden Hazard earn as much as 200 thousand Pounds if he signs the contract. The contract reportedly has a heavy release clause attached to it and this is a source of concern for Hazard and his people if the player should decide to move. The price on the release clause is not public knowledge but it is reported that if Hazard signs the new contract and the clause is activated, he would become the world’s most expensive footballer.
Chelsea are trying to hang on to their star man and last season’s player of the year for the club and PFA young player of the year as his ability and potential is unquestioned.
