President Muhammad Buhari has approved a total sum of N6.8 billion special and normal intervention fund for Federal University Wukari to develop key infrastructure in the institution in 2017.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Abubakar Musa Kundiri who disclosed this on Saturday in Wukari at the institution’s maiden convocation ceremony said the sum of N2 billion was approved by the President as Special TETFund intervention in 2017 while another N2.5 billion was equally approved for the next two years.
In the same vein, according to the VC, the sum of N1 billion was approved by the President as normal intervention fund in 2017 and another N1.3 billion NEEDS ASSESMENT INTERVENTION under the period under review. Expressing gratitude to the President for his support and commitment in building the university, he assured that the projects would be implemented with every sense of commitment.
