Soccer Brand: CAF Shortlist For African Player Of The Year Award

Five Nigerians made it to the CAF list for the African Player of The Year Award. Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Midfielder John Mikel Obi and forward Emmanuel Emenike are among the five Nigerians who made the list.
Also on the list are duo Ahmed Musa and Africa Cup of Nations hero Sunday Mba.
The number represents one fifth of the total nominees and that means Nigeria have the highest number of players nominated for the award.
They face competition from 20 other players from around the continent, including the three Ivorians; Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure and Gervinho.
