The 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 22, 2019, with almost every big name in Hollywood present.

The 2019 edition of the awards night saw some surprise winners and others going home with a number of awards. One of the highlights of the night was the speech from ‘When They See Us’ star Jharrel Jerome who took home the Lead actor in a limited series or movie award.
