The ongoing 13th National Trade fair in Minna, Niger State, which has 13 states participating, has so far created a capital and N500million turnover.
The Director General, Niger State Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Mines, Adamu Salihu, who disclosed this on Tuesday, July 14, said the trade fair was organized in view to open up the state economy to the corporate community in the country.
He said the volume of participation has been on the rise as the survey conducted showed that the turn over at the fair is about N500 million.
Salihu also disclosed that no fewer than 10 corporate firms are participating and that because of the focus on Small and Medium Scale Enterprises( SMEs), 250 of such SMEs are participating in the fair which started last week.
The director general stated that revenue target for the chamber was about N10 million to be made through participating fees through the number of government.
While expressing delight on the progress recorded so far, he called on corporate bodies to take advantage of the fair to benefit from the turn over being created to open their product to the state and also take advantage of the potentials of the state.
