UNIBEN Alumni Lagos holds Award/Dinner Dec. 4

In a statement signed by the Branch Chairman and Public Relations Officer, Messrs Stephen Onojomete and Kenneth Ebriomi, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, they said the award would hold at the Sheraton Hotel Ikeja, Lagos by 2.00 p.m.
The statement noted further that the event would be chaired by Elder Obukaroro Ovadje, while Prof. Lilian Salami, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Benin would be the Special Guest of Honour and Mother of the day.
A keynote address on the topic “Benefits of the 2022 electoral reforms” will be delivered by Mr Mike Igini, former INEC Commissioner in Akwa Ibom.
The statement listed some of the beneficiaries of the award to include Mrs Josephine Ehimen, MD/CEO, Nett Pharmacy Lt; Prof. Chris Imumolen, Accord Party Presidential Candidate for the 2023 general elections and Olatunji Akinwuni, Executive Director, TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited.
Others include Mr Gabriel Ogbechie, MD/ CEO, Rainoil Limited; Mrs Grace Omo- Lamai, Director, Human Resources, Nigerian Breweries PLC’; Mr Olumide Akpata, Partner, Templars Law Firm, Lagos and Mr Augustine Okwah, Manager, Legal Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
Mr Stanley Amuchie, Executive Director, Fidelity Bank Plc; Mr Wole Adeniyi, CEO, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc; Maj.-Gen Adamu Jidda, Brig.-Gen Henry Oburo, Brig.-Gen Eruwa Emiko Rtd, among others will also receive award at the alumni dinner.
The event will also help to mentor, inspire and encourage youngsters to strive for excellence in all their chosen professions.
