Nigeria duo Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe could be headed for the exit door at West Brom with the club considering laying them off.
Both players have failed to sparkle for the midlands club, despite being bought for hefty fee and West Brom shattering their transfer records for them.
Anichebe was bought for £7million from Everton, but the Albions shattered their transfer record to land Ideye from Dynamo Kyiv, paying out £10million for him.
West Brom’s new manager Tony Pulis does not seem to have patience to wait for the Nigerians to come through, as he is fighting to keep the club in the Premier League.
Ideye particularly looks a sure bet to leave, after struggling to adapt to his new surroundings.
The Super Eagles player has scored just twice in all competitions for the club and appeared short of confidence in front of goal, missing a clear opportunity to score in their last league game against Hull City.
