Ogbeche scores twice in SC Cambuur draw
Bartholomew Ogbeche was on target twice for SC Cambuur as they were forced to a 3-3 draw away at FC Utrecht in a Dutch topflight game played on Saturday night.
A goal in each half from the Nigerian ensured his side shared point with the hosts at the Stadion Galgenwaard.
Ogbeche got the curtain raiser of the game in the 26th minute after heading home a cross from Marlon Pereira – a strike that gave them the lead at half time.
On resumption of the second half, Willem Janssen equalised for the hosts before the Nigerian got his second strike of the night nine minutes later following an assist from Pereira.
Sander van de Streek increased the margin for SC Cambuur. In the 72nd minute, Nacer Barazite got the hosts’ second goal of the day with his fierce shot.
Seven minutes later, Cambuur were reduced to ten men with goalkeeper Harm Zeinstra sent off following a dangerous play, while Willem Janssen scored the third for the hosts to ensure that the game ended in a no winner, no vanquished state.
Ogbeche now boast of three goals in seven appearances for his side this season in the Dutch topflight, Goal reports.
