The news that Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe is dead has been confirmed. The actor died on Sunday January 18, 2015, around 4:15 pm in a hospital in Lagos.
According to sources, he has been battling with prolonged kidney failure but decided to keep it a secret and raise money for his treatment rather than solicit from the public. He collapsed in his house earlier yesterday and was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.
Shortly after reports that Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe is dead, a Twitter handle named Muna Obiekwe with the avartar of the Nollywood actor tweeted that the death reports were mere rumours.
The tweets created controversy about the authenticity of the death reports leaving several bloggers and fans confused.
However, after due consultations, it has been confirmed that the actor is truly dead and the twitter handle is fake. Beware!Also, reactions continue to pour in on social media over the death of Nollywood actor Muna Obiekwe. While some of his colleagues find it hard to believe, others have accepted the fact, and are paying tributes to the late actor.
