MAURITIUS 2014: ARRANGEMENTS IN TOP GEAR- APRA

Ahead of its annual conference scheduled for Mauritius between May 27-31, 2014, African Public Relations Association (APRA) has urged its members to register early to avoid last minute complications.
A statement credited to the Secretary General of the Association Yomi Badejo Okusanya said arrangements are in top gear to ensure a convenient trip and reception for all delegates.
“Registration for this year’s conference is on-going and quite a number of delegates are registering on a daily basis. We enjoin everyone to please register early to avoid last minute complications while noting that it will assist us in our planning.
“Arrangements for the conference are in top gear as three different airlines have been approached to offer discounts. They are South African Airways, Emirates and Air France,” the statement said.
The venue for the conference is the Le Meridien Hotel in Mauritania capital, Port Louis. The theme is ‘Advancing Africa’.
The association also provided information on its forthcoming Pyramid Awards saying entries for qualified practitioners are open from March 21- April 20, 2014. “Also, we want to seize this opportunity to call for entries for the APRA Pyramid Awards from qualified practitioners from March 21 – April 20, 2014. Entries can be sent to [email protected]. Award categories and rules for participation can be found on the APRA website.”
