Reports reaching Brandpower has it that about 20 people are feared dead and over 50 injured in a suicide bomb attack at Dakasoye village in Kura Local Government Area of Kano State.
A resident, who noted that the attack affected mostly women and children, added that the incident took place immediately after a middle-aged man was caught with an Improvised Explosive Device.
Spokesman of the group, Ibrahim Usman said the male suicide bomber infiltrated the religious procession of Shi’ite Muslims on their way to Zaria on Friday afternoon at about 2:30pm and blew himself up killing scores and injuring many. Actual casualty figure yet to be ascertained.
