The Bornu State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Babagana Zullum, has won 13 of the 27 local governmentareas in Borno, as election result collation progresses.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that collation of result of the governorship election is conducted at the Kashim Ibrahim College of Education, Maiduguri.

The exercise is being presided over by the state’s INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Alhassan Gali,

Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of the All Progressives Congress has won in 19 of 21 LGAs in Kebbu State governorship election, according to results so far released by INEC.

The results were received by the Collation Officer for Governorship and State Assembly Elections, Prof. Hamisu Bichi, in Kebbi on Sunday.

Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party has won in five out of the six LGAs whose governorship polls results have so far been announced.

The News Agency Agenc reports that Ahmad Aliyu of the All Progressives Congress won in Raba LGA, where he polled 16,535 votes, as against 13,232 votes secured by Tambuwal.

However, Tambuwal is ahead of Aliyu with 95,066 votes, as against 90,809, according to the results announced for the six LGAs by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
