The Nigerian Minister of Health, Prof.Isaac Adewole has convened an Emergency National Council on Health meeting to discuss the on going Lassa fever outbreak in the country.
The meeting,which would also witness the inauguration of the National Lassa Fever Action Committee. will take place on Tuesday 19,January in Abuja.
All State Health commissioners for Health and Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of Tertiary health facilities are expected to be in attendance, reports VON.
