‘Jurassic World’ Sets Record For Biggest Worldwide Debut With $511.8 Million

In what is somewhat bit surprising, Jurassic World set a record for the second-biggest US debut and the biggest worldwide debut ever.
The movie grossed $204.596 million in its opening weekend to rank second all-time debut in the United States, behind Marvel’s The Avengers, which grossed $207m.
Its worldwide total of $511.8 million easily beat the $494m total of former record holder Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows II to set the new record.
Jurassic World was executively produced by Steven Spielberg, and stars Bryce Dallas Howard,Chris Pratt, BD Wong, Irrfan Khan, and Vincent D’Onofrio.
