This year’s edition of the football event will take place on March 20 at the Campus Mini Stadium, Lagos, with players from schools in the state showcasing their talents.
The event, which is sponsored by Indomie Noodles, is a five-a-side competition organised for public schools in Lagos, with the aim of promoting education through sports, The 2014 edition will include exhibition matches by female footballers, Education and sports are not gender based; hence the need to enlighten the females as well.
Ibitoye Habeeb, Taiwo and Kehinde Ramon were the recipients of the scholarship awards last year, which included their tuition and attending the Bolton Wanderers football school.
The objective of the project was to create a positive environment through teaching discipline, perseverance and co-operation through the sport.
