FIFA unveils ‘The Best’ player award after separation from France Football
World Football Governing body, FIFA has announced ‘The Best FIFA Football Awards’ to replace the Ballon D’ or award, which has returned, back to France Football.
The award which will be held for the first time on January 9, 2017 will be awarded to the Best FIFA Men’s Player 2016, The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2016 and The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2016.
Other awards which will be handed out are The Best FIFA Women’s Coach 2016, The FIFA Puskás Award 2016, The FIFA Fair Play Award 2016, The FIFA Fan Award 2016 and FIFA FIFPro World11.
The winners will be chosen via a process in which 50% of the result is based on the choices of captains and head coaches of all of the world’s national teams.
The other 50% will be split between the result of an online public ballot and the submissions from a selected group of more than 200 media representatives from around the world.

Tuesday, November, 1: ten candidates for The Best FIFA Women’s Coach 2016
Wednesday, November 2: ten candidates for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2016
Thursday, November, 3: ten candidates for The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2016
Friday, November 4: 23 candidates for The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2016
Meanwhile the voting process will start on November 4 and end On November 2
