FIFA Honours Vincent Enyeama Over Lille Heroics

vincentLille Metropole goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama received an award from world governing body FIFA earlier today for his exploits in French Ligue 1.
The Thirty-three-year-old former Nigeria captain who recently passed the 100th Ligue 1 appearance for Lille took to Instagram to share the news to his fans.

According to him, this is how goodness and mercy will follow you all this month of March. First day of the month, FIFA got me a trophy for hard work, dedication, success, he wrote under a photograph of himself with a plaque.

Enyeama, one of the few Nigerian players with over hundred caps, retired from international football last year after falling out with Sunday Oliseh, who was then the Super Eagles head coach.

He has conceded twenty goals and made forty-nine saves in twenty-five games for Lille this season.
