Eight people died in a train crash in southern Germany on Tuesday and 150 people were injured, including 50 seriously, Bavarian police said in a tweet.

Members of emergency services prepare an injured person for transportation by helicopter from the site of the two crashed trains near Bad Aibling in southwestern Germany.
