DSS Retires Former Spokesperson Marilyn Ogar, 14 others
The Department of State Services has sent two directors and 13 other senior officials including the former DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar on compulsory retirement.
A signal from the leadership of the service issued on yesterday, September 2 indicated that the compulsory retirement was to take effect immediately.
According to sources, Mrs. Ogar was found guilty of the corruption allegation against her as well as for playing partisan role that ridiculed the agency in the eyes of the Nigerian public.
Those affected were asked to leave the force through a letter dispatched to them by the leadership of the agency.
