Dana Air Supports Child Education

Dana Airline as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and in partnership with Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) took pupils on an educational excursion of airport facilities.
The programme according to the Chief Pilot of the airline, Capt. Segun Omale is to allow the pupils have a firsthand experience of how an airplane works. He said that the airline opened its aircraft doors to over 500 pupils drawn from various schools across Lagos State.
While welcoming the pupils to the aircraft provided by Dana Air for the excursion purpose, Capt. Omale expressed happiness that Dana Air is once again leading in the drive to impact on the lives of children. He said that Dana Air identifies with all global and local initiatives to improve the education pursuit of children.
According to him, “We are a caring airline that will continue to pay serious attention to issues that concern proper education of the future generation and our commitment to take the children on this all important excursion is anchored on our firm belief that a well informed child represents hope for the future of mankind as information drives the development of any nation.”
He also noted that Dana Air through its Kidz Fly Programme has always given children the chance to be ferried from one state to another aboard an aircraft.
