INEC, on 25th September, released a list of 23 candidates who would vie for the position of Anambra State Governor in the November 16 gubernatorial elections. The list includes; Chika Jerry Okeke (AA), Sen. Chris Ngige (APC), Nicholas Ukachukwu (PDP), Godwin Ezeemo (PPA), Chief Willie Obiano (APGA) amongst others. The State has over the years been bedeviled by poor infrastructural development occasioned by the influence of godfatherism.
