Arjen Robben Retires from Football at 35
Former Bayern Munich and Netherlands winger Arjen Robben has announced his retirement from football.
The 35-year-old, former Chelsea player, made 606 appearances and scored 210 goals in a storied 19-year playing career.
The former Blue attacker made his retirement known in his latest tweets on Thursday evening.
He said: ‘I have been thinking a lot over the past few weeks. As everyone knows, I consciously took the time to make an informed decision about my future after my last Bayern Munich match. And I decided to put an end to my career as a professional football player.”
